I'm a fan of manga and anime, but I never say character's name backward (unless I do it unconsciously, Bleach REALLY confused me there) I NEVER use "-chan" or "-kun", "-san", "-sama" whatever.
And what I think is even worse, is that everybody seems to forget about other Asian countries. So many Americans can be so stupid, thinking that Chinese still wear those traditional clothes, and they live right next to the Great Wall or China.
